Where does Navigator dock in Barcelona?

We will be visiting Barcelona on the Navigator. I read on a previous post that sometimes the Navigator is able to dock at the close terminal often used for ferries (Estació Maritima), just a 5 minute walk to Las Ramblas. Has anyone experienced docking at this location on the Navigator? We are planning to do Barcelona on our own and it would be great to be so close to town.

Docking locations vary. You may be lucky and dock at the trade center, a short walk to Los Ramblas. But you may dock a 15-20 minute ride away. CC members have posted sites where one can obtain port authority information based on arrival dates. Or RSSC may know.

Incidentally, there is a great cable car ride terminal at the trade center, and the Grande Marina circular hotel is really first class.

We were in Barcelona in Nov. 2007 on the Voyager and we were docked at

the main terminal (don't remember name). Even though it was a 15 or so

minute drive to the downtown area, Regent had shuttle buses that ran about

every hour to the foot of Las Ramblas. Believe me, Regent pulls out all the

stops when it comes to making it easy and convenient for their passengers.

You will love Barcelona, it's a beautiful city with much to see.

On Voyager in Nov 2006 we docked at the foot of la Rambla and could walk there in a few minutes. In May this year on Navigator we were in the new (but not improved!) "cruise ship" area and were forced to take a shuttle bus for about 10 minutes (ran every 3o mins) to la Rambla area. Not an improvement! Last month we saw a Silversea ship docked where we had been on Voyager...so maybe it is the luck of the draw?
