What is the turnaround time for dry cleaning? Similar to laundry?

Yes. Almost always if we give something to steward by noontime, we have it back before dinner the next day.

If you need it in a hurry tel them and it will be back in time.

 

I have been sending my tux in the day we board and it is back the next day for formal night.

Our experience is that you can arrange same day service, but recommend that you phone Holland American directly as it may vary from ship to ship

We were on the Volendam recently, and there was a surcharge for expedited (same day) service.

If you are in a PS, SA, SB or SC cabin -- there is no charge for dry cleaning -- not even if you ask for expedited service.

For all other passengers there is an extra fee beyone the regular dry cleaning fee for edpedited service.

We have sent items out to be dry cleaned by 9 AM and got them back after dinner the following day.

We have found HAL's dry cleaning price for my husbands Tux, was the cheapest anywhere. Only $9.95, and they did a great job.
