mahalo Spleen for the info on Electric Beach. We are staying part of the time at Ko Olina resort and it will be close! The UH Research Pier will be a good one to check out as well!

 

I dont remember which site I was researching where they said ....dont worry the one local reef shark was tame.... I know not to swim at breakfast and dinner time or when runoff is clouding the water, and I dont expect any wildlife to be "tame" - just mentioned that I read it. I think it was on shorediving.com - one of the reviewers - and of course you can believe everything you read

 

I dont think I ever even want to see a shark while snorkeling, :eek: dont think my fins could kick out of there fast enough! I'd be better off lingering around a piece of coral or pretending I was kelp..... I could just see it....trying to use my little flashlight for a bang stick:D:rolleyes::eek:
