What are your favorite restaurants in these ports....

We are going on our NCL cruise in Oct/Nov, travelling to:

Athens, Nafplion, Katakolon, Iraklion, Santorini, Mykonos and Istanbul.

 

What are your recommendations for great restaurants/tavernas in those ports??

 

We plan to DIY alot of ports and we would like to eat at places with really great food that are not too hard to find as we will be walking/taking public transport mostly-- and not too expensive, if that's possible.

 

Places I have seen recommended are:

 

Athens: Tou Psarra for lunch in the Plaka

 

Mykonos: Nikkos Taverna

 

Santorini: Skala in Oia

 

Suggestions/reviews of the above and any others for the other ports would be greatly appreciated!

Any restaurant that does NOT have a multi lingual tourist menu, that is not full of tourists, and preferably three blocks in from the main drag. Some of the best meals and experiences that we have had were found in truly 'local' restaurants.
