Bahamas - What to do?

Looking for a suggestions on what to do in Bahamas.

 

We'll be on the NOS (Eastern Caribbean) and we'll stop in Bahamas from 1 - 7 pm.

I wanted to the same question but for Freeport. The port section makes it hard to tell if the poster is talking about Freeport or Nassua.

 

I'm looking for a nice beach area with some shade and drinks available, Also is there anywhere to maybe snorkel?

 

Any tips at all will help. Booked last minute cruise and now searching ports.

 

Arielle are you going to Freeport or Nassua?

We did the YellowBird trip....I liked it as we went past

many new , beautiful homes being built. The beach was small...nice...no fish that I could see....

In Nassau,we got day passes at the British Colonial Hilton. Short walk from the pier. Day passes were inexpensive, $10/adults and $5/kids. Beach was clean and quiet. No vendors. Nice pool and outdoor restaurant. Will do this agian next time we are in Nassau.
