My friend and I are going to be stopping in Limon and will be taking an excursion, but afterwards will need someplace to eat before we do any shopping. Are there any good places to eat at the port?

I also would like to see a reply. We have an early morning excursion and should return to the pier around 11 am, plan to shop in the pier area and wonder about restaurants vs. returning to ship.

What did you find? We're just starting to research for a possible winter cruise in 2011 with a stop here. One site I found said there wasn't anything. TripAdvisor recs for Costa Rica are for other places. Fodor's only lists Brisas del Caribe and laments it's shift from a quirky local place to more style to attract cruisers. Geckogo has one rec for La Fuente ehich serves Costa Rican dishes and actually might be fairly good. Other than that looks fairly grim. I'm think it's coffee plantation tour and eating in the interior.
