CD Kevin Noonan

Any Thoughts on Him? Going on Liberty 8/29 seeking info on him.

 

 

Is he Funny?

He was our CD on the Destiny in March. I saw him around the ship a lot interacting with passengers. Personally, my DH and I thought he was quite funny at the Newlywed show he hosted and at the disembarkation meeting.

Carnival requires CDs to be an "acting CD" for one year before becoming "permanent".

 

Kevin is in the "acting" CD mode. This gives a future CD time to "develop" as they are learning on the job.

 

We have cruised with him about 5 times and love him to pieces.

 

He is from Buffalo, NY. Loves the Yankees....and yes, I have seen him an a Yellow Bird dancer costume (so sorry I did not have the camera for that one)...so he knows how to have a good time!!

He has been my favorite cruise director so far. He was personable, funny and mingled with the guests. As a matter of fact, he is the only cruise director I really remember.

Noonan was our CD on the Destiny in Feb. He was very good and funny. We really enjoyed his morning shows. He is my second favorite CD (Ryan Fitzgerald). Haven't cruised with John Herald yet.

Just in case you don't know. Noonan...It's kinda a Caddy Shack reference. Noonan!! (miss it!) when Danny was putting for the caddy championship. I bet 90% don't catch it, But there it is.

I've had Steve Cassell, Kevin Noonan and Jeremy Mayes (Tex) in that order.

 

Of the 3, I'd say I cared for Noonan the least. To me, he was a little dis-engaged, but maybe he was having a bad week, I don't know.

 

He wasn't horrible, just not as good as the other 2.

I have cruised with him as CD on 3 cruises and he is great.

 

He even sat down with me on captain's night and talked, since I was doing a back to back, he knew me by name. A great guy.
