Brunch and High Tea Question

I was online about 15 minutes into the first day of the 90 day out policy for booking Palo reservations and much to my dismay there were no Brunch and High Tea reservations. What to do? We are cruising on a 7 day Western on September 19th and wanted to attend either or both of these events. Do these events generally book up so fast? What are the possibilities of getting ressies once on board? Is there some sort of inside way to try and get these? Thanks in advance and any help is appreciated.

Okay, first off, have you cruised with DCL before? The reason I am asking is because if you are not, you will not be able to book at the 90 mark. You have to wait until 75 days. If you are a CC member, do not panic, here is how the reservations work. 32% of the slots are open at the 90 day mark, 32% are open at the 75 day mark, 32% are open for the ship & 4% are left for rearraging and emergencies that happen on the ship and the staff has to reschedule for. So do not worry, the chances of getting one is good. Know that there are not many tea openings. So even though there are a large % open for 75 & 90 days, there are not many of these. I bet you when we went to tea, there were only maybe 6 other people there. The party times are staggated and couples come and go one at a time. So relax and try again....

They may have a set time of the day when the computer kicks these things into effect, it might not be midnight. Easiest thing I can remember is that in most casinos the gambling day starts at 6:00A.M. and not midnight.

I would check back occasionally, in the event there are people who have canceled their trips. That may open up some time slots.

Otherwise, at this point, your best bet is checking when you get onboard.

"Please note that Palo is very popular and the restaurant tends to fully book quickly. However, reservations change frequently. Therefore, be sure to continue to check this website because additional dining times may become available. We also invite you to see a Palo Representative located in Rockin' Bar D (Disney Magic) or Wavebands (Disney Wonder) on embarkation day for possible reservation availability." Direct from the DCL website.
