Your description is perfect: There are so many of us who love Holland America and for so many good reasons. There's just a different feeling when you cross the gangway and swipe your ship card. It's the feeling of "Ah, yes... I'm home".

 

For me, there are only two times: on HAL, and not on HAL. Can't wait till September!

Wonderful photos, thank you! I really like the seagull. He could be a screen saver. Great birds. I love how they have fantastic eyesight and drop their clams on rocks to crack them open...............I find it very funny to watch them.

But! Your wife is a fantastic photographer. You are very fortunate.:)
