Considering a cruise with our twin boys who will be 2 1/2. Which cruiselines have kids clubs that allow 2 year olds (versus 3 being the youngest)? Also, which cruiselines have in-cabin babysitting services at night?

Carnival for sure accepts 2 year olds in its program (my twin girls went the week they turned 2).

RCCL offers in-cabin sitting on as-available basis.

I'm almost positive NCL allows 2 year olds, but someone else can confirm.

Best,

Mia

Accepts 2 year olds in a formal program, no added charge - Carnival and NCL. Carnival changes diapers, NCL pages the parent for diaper changes

In Cabin Babysitting - Royal Caribbean and Celebrity - paid service, paid by hour in cash to sitter

Accepts 2 year olds in a nursery setting - Disney - paid service - Flounders Nursery

NEW - not so familiar because the details haven't been released - a nursery on Royal Caribbean Oasis of the Seas - will accept under 3's - not sure about the fee or if there is a fee

Cunard - admits them from 1 year. No charge for babysitting, open until midnight.

P&O - admits from 2 years for daytime childcare (although if your child is younger you are welcome to accompany them to the nursery). Also offer babysitting, free until midnight and with a small charge thereafter, although if its fairly quiet they waive this. Closes at 2am.

Both change nappers/diapers.

Both lines have an excellent reputation for childcare. Don't be put off by P&O being marketed mostly at the British market, they will accept any nationality!
