Hotel recommendations

Can someone suggest a hotel in Barbados for 1 nite pre cruise(proximity to cruise ship) and a hotel in Buenos Aires for 2 nites post cruise

We absolutely loved Sandy Lane in Barbados. Beautiful hotel with a wonderful spa and pool area. It's about a ten minute drive from the port.

I second on Sandy Lane, but if you are not going to get in early enough to enjoy it, stay at the Hilton. A lot of people on here recommend it.

We stayed at the Hilton for a pre-cruise (Seabourn) night two years ago. The hotel was nice, our room had a view, the beach was pretty, and the food ok. The outside bar on the beach was fun for an hour or so in the evening until the karaoke started.

Barbados: Sandy Lane is fine if you have $1,000 a night to spend.

 

I've stayed at both the Hilton and Colony Club, they're beautiful. The Hilton is in Bridgetown...and there isn't a more spectacular view of the Caribbean than from their ocean view rooms.

The Hilton is convenient, comfortable and good value. Probably the better choice for just one night.

We stayed at the Hilton. For us for 1 night it was OK. Anything more we would do the Fairmont.

Stayed at Sandy Lane last year prior to the Shadow and the year prior before boarding the Seabourn Pride, both times Sandy Lane proved a wonderful hotel. Not cheap but the rooms, food and service were fantastic!!!!

As for Buenos Aires please do yourself a favor and check out the Park Hyatt Palacio Duhau, one of the best city hotels experiences I have ever had.

The Marriot in Buenos Aires, top of Florida Avenue & central to almost all of BA. Service, & value second to none. Old world charm and sophistication in the one wonderful hotel.

We were happy with the Accra Beach-reasonable prices, nice pool with bar and nice beach. You can walk across the street for breakfast and there are other dining options close by. Price is right too! When we cruised New Year's week the Hilton was ridiculously expensive. If you like B&b's there are a few good options. Peach and Quiet is one of them but check trip advisor for others.
