It's just a discount card? You still have to pay additional $ for those drinks or does the $23 pay for the 5 drinks?

I think it is available on all ships?!?

Fun Ship Cards, which allow the purchase of multiple Daily Specials/Tropical Cocktails at a discounted price, are available for purchase by guests on all cruises from all bar locations.

· The "Fun Ship Card" is a discount card which allows the guest an opportunity to enjoy a variety of daily tropical drink specials at a discounted price.

· The Fun Ship Card is sold for $23.00 + gratuities

· With the card, the guest will receive:

1 Daily Special Tropical Cocktail served in a Souvenir Hurricane Glass (first drink ordered with the card)

4 Daily Special Tropical Cocktails served in standard glass

· Daily Special Tropical Cocktails included in the card are:

· The Fun Ship Card will be sold in all bar locations.

Very new to cruises so could you tell me what a dod card is thanks.

Carnival sells a special drink of the day, which is a fruity mixture of some kind with alcohol. Typically, a drink of the day costs $6.95 in a souvenir glass or $5.95 in a regular glass plus 15% gratuity. The drink of the day card (aka DOD card or Funship Special card) offers a discount on these drinks. They sell for $23 plus 15% gratuity for 5 drinks...including the first one with the souvenir cup and 4 others that are supposed to be in a regular glass (although all the bartenders I went to asked me for my souvenir cup to refill). You can use this card for 5 drinks at once or 1 at a time or in any other combination you care to use it.

 

I hope they are still offering them. I enjoyed mine last time... :D

Still waiting to hear if someone knows if this is available on the Triumph? Keeping fingers crossed !!!!

Drink of the Day card was available on the Triumph in January. Matter of fact, that is the first time I had seen it.

It was not available on the Fascination last week. I specifically asked for it at the atrium bar.

I just got off the Triumph (9-19 through 9-26) and asked multiple times at different bars and was told they do not offer the DOD card. Needless to say I was disappointed.
