Ready4Cruise Posted July 17, 2009 #1 Share Posted July 17, 2009 I am considering a 14-day back-to-back cruise on the Caribbean Princess departing on 1/31/09. It is two 7-day cruises with different itineraries. Does anyone know from experience if the same meals and entertainment will be duplicated on each 7-day segment of two back-to-back Princess cruises with different itineraries? The itinerary is: DAY DATE PORT Sun Jan 31 San Juan, Puerto Rico Mon Feb 1 St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands Tue Feb 2 Dominica Wed Feb 3 Grenada Thu Feb 4 Bonaire, Netherlands Antilles Fri Feb 5 Aruba Sat Feb 6 At Sea Sun Feb 7 San Juan, Puerto Rico Mon Feb 8 St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands Tue Feb 9 Tortola, British Virgin Islands Wed Feb 10 Antigua Thu Feb 11 St. Lucia Fri Feb 12 Barbados Sat Feb 13 At Sea Sun Feb 14 San Juan, Puerto Rico Thank you in advance for your comments. paul929207 Posted July 17, 2009 #2 Share Posted July 17, 2009 The meals will be duplicated. The entertainment will be duplicated unless some of the entertainers are replaced during the crusies.

Cruisebird Posted July 17, 2009 #4 Share Posted July 17, 2009 We did this exact cruise March 2008 on the Crown Princess. While yes the dining and entertainment are repeated, the 14 days was beyond heaven. There are so many dining venues that we only repeated the dining room options when it was something we really wanted. Same with the shows. The individual entertainers (comedian) did change. Also, again there was such a variety of venues that we did what we wanted when we wanted. We saw everything but didn't have to cram it into a 7 day cruise. I highly recommend this cruise! We did the Crown in Apr 08 (same intinerary) and loved it. You won't be disappointed.
Ready4Cruise Posted July 17, 2009 Author #6 Share Posted July 17, 2009 Thank you for your replies. My wife and I enjoy a relaxed cruise and you comments point out that even if the meals and entertainment are duplicated, it is just a matter of selecting something else on the ship. And yes "LARGIN", I did miss the boat so I'll have to go next year on 1/31/2010. Thank you Art
fathercop Posted July 18, 2009 #7 Share Posted July 18, 2009 I can always eat the same thing twice, if I am on a cruise! Good luck to you and enjoy your cruise!
