Best time to go? Third week of June or third week of July?

I am considering booking a cruise with my kids and was wondering when the best time is to travel to alaska in terms of seeing snow, whale, dog-sledding, and nice weather. Also, any thoughts on the Norweigan Pearl?

Have done both...July is by far much better.... IMHO

never sailed NCL but havve princess and celebrity is next.

Can only speak for our cruise but we just did June 14th to the 23rd time frame and had great weather. It rained for our inside passage cruising day and in Whittier. The rest of the time was perfect.

 

If you research the boards Alaska is very unpredictable. Just pick a time and be happy with what you get when you are there.
