I have a OBC for my upcoming NCL cruise, and was wondering if it can be used for gratuities.

Practically everything you buy onboard ship will be put on your onboard account, including the daily service charge. Your OBC will be subtracted from your sub-total and the balance will be charged to your credit card or you can pay cash the morning of disembarkation (or maybe even the evening before).

i never gave it much thought..we usually buy so much it far exceeds any

OBC we might have..:o

I thought I read somewhere that it specifically excludes the gratuities, but I didn't think it would matter as we'll also spend more than what they are giving us anyway.
