Dusty Bloomers Posted July 29, 2009 #1 Share Posted July 29, 2009 :)Do children get seasick? If so can they use the patches or dramamine? We are going on the 4 day from Galveston. I think at 5 she will enjoy the glizt. She is old enough to enjoy dressing up for dinner & since Carnival entertains in the dining room it will be fun for all of us. (at the early seating so we don't offend those without children). Please give me you thoughts on this if you travel with children or if children offend you on a cruise. I would like your feedback. Submarine - goes under 100' for about 40 minutes?? There is only 1 shore excursion that looks appropriate since she doesn't drink and party yet. Or we may just take her to a beach to play. Please give me your thoughts on these 2 options. Where do you need to go in Cozumel to find the big lizards. That's a must see. Is the children's program in a safe environment with cameras?? Thank you..Have a great day
Rare Essiesmom Posted July 29, 2009 #2 Share Posted July 29, 2009 You need to visit several places on this forum: 1. Special Interest Cruising, there is a section on Family Cruises...that's the place to ask questions about kids activities 2. Ports of call....This is where to find out what others do at your ports 3. Carnival board Questions about use of anti-seasickness meds are best asked of yur pediatrician. EM
cb at sea Posted July 29, 2009 #3 Share Posted July 29, 2009 Very young kids don't tend to get motion sickness--I guess they're so "wobbly" naturally, that they don't notice the motion! But, you should talk to your child's pediatrician....dosage for kids is different than adults!!!!
