Reviews on Atlantis submarine?

Was the Atlantis submarine worth it? Seems like a lot of money for 1 1/2 hours. What did you like or not like? If we do some snorkeling, will we see just as much as from the submarine?

We did it in Cozumel. I'm glad I did it but I wouldn't do it again. The seat don't fit a hefty butt :rolleyes:. I was lucky and ended up on the end by the driver(if that's what you call him). I mainly knelt on one knee (that hurt) cause I only had half a seat, my friend next to me is also hefty. I was very, very uncomfortable. Felt like a sardine, and like I said I was at the end. Plus I don't do great in closed in spaces, if I hadn't been on the end, well, I don't want to think about it...:eek:

My wife and I did this in Curacao a few yrs back. I never got seasick in my life until I did this. I was suprised I felt that way but I did. So did the wife. It is very enclosed and you fill very cramped. What we saw of it before we went upstairs was great though. Beautiful water and lots of fish. They even sent a diver down to feed them and they just flocked to him. You may be fine though.

My friend and I didn't get sea sick, and she is prone to it. Of course we do take a lot of ginger when we cruise....
