Packing a suit jacket...Ever tried Space Bags??

I've had the same set I've been using since our first cruise. The trick to getting all the air out is to put them on the floor or bed and put your weight on them with your knees as you roll them. They will shrink down very small.

The Carnival beds are too mushy to use these properly. Need to use the vanity or chair. Just watch out, sometimes they make a whoopee cushion sound:rolleyes:.

Men's shoes are definitely a problem. On our next cruise this October, I'm going to try burgundy-colored shoes that go with both black and brown clothing. I take Lands End mesh shoes that replace tennis shoes. If all goes well, I will only have to pack the Lands End shoes. At the moment, I'm looking for sturdy walking shoes in burgundy.

I have never had a problem with my garment bag as a carryon what airline is restricting these? Last one I flew was in Dec 2008 Continental
