Naples-walking from port

We will be taking a half day tour to Pompeii in the morning and will have the afternoon to explore some of Naples. We'd really rather stay close to the port. Are there any shopping areas or recommended eateries within walking distance of the port area? Thanks for all the help!

I stayed in Naples for two nights in 2007 and from what I recall the Via Toledo is quite close by (check out google map) - it's the main "High St" shopping area.

We enjoyed the Restaurante Bellini in Piazza Bellini which is quite close by.
