Venice Docking

Where does the Star Clipper dock in Venice?

Does anybody have any info on ports of call along the Dalmatian Coast?

When you are in port for 11 hours is it easy to get back on and off the boat during that time? Silly questions from a novice...any info is appreciated.

Thanks!

When are you going?

Are you talking about the Star Clipper, the Royal Clipper or the Star Flyer?

We are on the Star Clipper leaving Athens on August 15th headed up the Dalmatian Coast to Venice.

We are staying over in Venice and were curious about getting to our hotel which is near St. Marks Square. This is our first cruise with the Star Clipper line so not quite sure what to expect in ports or on board for that matter. Any insite on the whole experience is appreciated.

We just finished the Athens to Venice cruise on the Star Clipper. You dock at San Basilio, just south of where the big ships dock. There are various ways to get to your hotel from there and maybe someone else can advise you as we stayed by the Accademia which was only a 10 minute walk from the dock. If you want more details about the cruise, please feel free to email me at bbergstrom@ecl-law.com. We had a wonderful time although it was HOT!
