Slots take quarters?

Do the slots machines in the casino take quarters or do you have to use the ship's tokens?:p

Last time I cruised they didn't take any coins... but I could be wrong. You had to use paper money or get money from your S&S account. I really think it depends on the ship.

They take coins even nickles and penny's.

Yup...They take coins, dollars and sign n sail cards!!

 

I was happy watching other folks keep dipping in there wallet for another hundred at blackjack!!

 

However, they got no donations from me!!:p

I may be wrong and if I am someone will let me know, if you use cash to play I think you have to put it back on your sign and sail card to cash it out. I'm not sure if it gives cash back anymore. Like I said if I am wrong someone will jump in and let me know. That is how we had to do it on the Conquest. I don't recall seeing anyone getting the cash out of the machine.

We have won many quarters, you take them to the cashier and they give you dollars. Now if you won a big jackpot I am sure they would put it on your S&S. Cindy

On the Glory this past May, you could insert coins, but your winnings went on your S&S card.

 

WARNING - Do NOT just take your S&S card out of the machine and leave when you're done playing. You have to "close" the session first, else you walk away and wind up leaving the money in the machine. :(

Hopefully the slots are giving you more quarters (on your S&S) than they are taking from you. I still prefer the money in my hands though. Old Fashioned I guess. :)

On Triumph in May you were encouraged to put all winnings on your sign and sail card BUT if you pushed the "cash out" button you would get coins. Several people did it around me and no "casino police" came and scolded them. Once my wife accidentally hit after winning a bit and they had to come fill the hopper to pay her out. No one said anything about using the card. When you set down at a machine put some money in and hit the cash out button - if it works you know you don't need your card.
