My Conquest Review 7/26-8/2 w/Pics

Our waiter was named Arsenio and his asst was Rhodrick...

They were WONDERFUL... (more about them later in the week)

 

Back to our room to change for Adult Comedy show and Point and Click show...

We had this waiting for us when we got to the room!!!

 

The Adult Comedy show was FUNNY...it was Marc Rubben...

He and his "dummys" were funny!!!

Finally Back from visiting my mom...LOL...had a long weekend out of town..

Back to the review...

On this morning we took advantage of room service and ordered breakfast in. I didn't see the "order" slips that were hanging on the wall until later. I called and the delivered it in about 10 min...it was wonderful

After breakfast it was off the the Gemstone seminar. Although it was EARLY...I had to get a Coconut Monkey Head

 

We waited around had lunch. Had something had never had before...Sushi

 

 

then off the the Marriage Game show...Talk about entertainment...it was so fun

There were things going on around the ship all afternoon Lazer Tag, Texas Hold'em, raffles, Adult Bean Bag Toss (which was fun to watch) to speak of a few...

we went to sports trivia in the sports bar but was too late to enter. However we did get to do it on the last day and had a blast.

we went and got ready for diner,

I had Chicken and DH had Stake...

 

Prior to dinner we attended the Motown Sound w/Ron Joseph

I did bingo first (didn't win a thing)

His show was really good...He called couples up on stage and sang Marvin Guys "Lets get it on" while they danced...

 

 

 

He also had guys come up and do the Temtations songs and dance...

It was really good and we had a lot of fun watching it...

Later that night it was time for the Deck Party...

When you first arrive on ship, the first caper tell which team you are on. it was called the Ultimate Team Challange!!!

Red Team: guest with cabins on deck 1 & 2

White Team: guest with cabins on deck 6 & 7

Blue Team: guest with cabins on deck 8,9,10 & 11

the had a meeting for the teams and had activities to prepair for the deck party. we missed this but hooked up with our team on deck...

talk about a FUN TIME we had one!!!

The was a conga line aroud the lido deck and several line dances including YMCA being done...

 

This is the "White Team" dance leader...he was a Dancer on the Ship...Very good...

Did you make it to the meet n greet? I tried but had a hard time getting 3 girls ready for pictures at 5:30. I took a spin around the lido deck MAIN pool not aft so I missed the balloon.

no It didn't happen due to the rain, the planner said she didn't come back out...went to where it was suppost to be but didn't see anyone...I gave her a call and that is what she told me...hate we all didn't get together though...

Well, this day we went to Ochos Rios to Dolphin Encounter and Dunn's River Falls...

We got up and eat breakfast early...Got into line to leave the boat. Was hussled into another line in the port to be hurded onto a bus for our 1 1/2 bus ride to Ochie

As we drove along our guide tells us about Jamaica, the country, the people and the homes...

Show us the resorts such as Sandles, Couples etc.

 

 

 

Ok at this point let me input something that I learned about while reading another review...It was said by a poster that on the excursions there is always " the lady" or "the man" who is annoying to the rest of the passangers...Well our excursion experience was NO DIFFERENT...

We not only had the lady or the man...we had the whole FAMILY...Mother, Father, son , daughter in law and KIDs...UGG

My God they would talk loud, interupt the guide while she was speaking and was just all around RUDE!!!

And they were the reason we were almost late back to port and our Driver was driving like a Bat out of h-e-double hokey sticks to get us back to port on time...

We first went to Dolphin Cove...

We were able to touch the Dolphins and take pic with them...we did not buy them too expensive. However I was able to take a few of my own

 

I love these Animals...

 

When that was over, we had lunch...

Hung out and tested some really good RUM!!!

Well after a nerve wreaking drive back to the port... They drive on the wrong side of the car and road...

we were greeted by a marching band, plenty of venders and other tired, drained passangers. The wait to get back on the ship was not too bad and the line went pretty quick...

Did I mention that this day was our 20th Anniversary...

Well once back on the ship it was time to get ready for Dinner resv at the Point Rest ...

Talk about a WONDERFUL time...Well worth the 30.00 pp...

The Chef sent out a soup as well as a desert (extra) for our Anniversary...

All the staff, food and everything was Soooo Nice...I would recommend Everyone to try it...you will not be disapointed...

Back at the room and this "jack" rabbit was waiting for us...So fitting since we had a driver who thought he was in a race...

I can not explain how these people drive...Anyway Thank the Good Lord we made it back to the port in one piece...

this day we went to Dunn's River Falls...

I was scared to DEATH...I did finish sort of...

We had a underwater camera but my DH put it down to fix his shoe and someone took it...we went back for it but no such luck...

We did buy the DVD and would have even if we found our Camera...

in saying that...I feel that someone may have taken it on purpose...

But anyway..we do have the DVD for memories but I am bumbed that I am unable to share pic with you :(

Arrived in GC and got off the boat on to a nother boat to be taken to the peer. It was a beatiful day.
