Another booking on board question.

Booked our next cruise on our last cruise and the sales person was INSISTENT we use the same TA who booked the cruise we were on. I am not that happy with the TA we have now and want to use someone else when we book during the cruise in June. If we take an online TA's number with us do you think they will let us use them?

Am thinking of using smartcruiser or cruisequick. Any comments on them?

Thanks for your help!

It's your choice who the on-board booking is referred to. If you don't want your current agent to get the booking tell the Future Cruise Consultant who should get the booking. I am also under the impression that you can tell them not to associate the booking with anyone while you are on board and then have the agent of your choice pick up the booking later on. Sounds like the Future Cruise Consultant you dealt with was not doing their job properly.

Donuts, is there anything they can't do....

You should be able to give them the New TA's codes.
We watched the girl book and put in the switched codes.
It is a little more screen work for her - but she can do it.

If they say no.
You can always shift to another agent after tha fact by going through the cruise line.

If you need an agents name Email me through my profile and I will give you mine.
Great agent. Watches out for you and get's you every price drop.

Have you checked your profile lately? Since the "improvements" were made to the board a few weeks ago there are no email addresses in the public profiles. Your email address is only available to the administrators of the board.

Sorry, I'm a little confused. We booked our next cruise in 2005 on Summit while on Summit last month. We booked directly with Celebrity, didn't use a TA. For the cruise last month we booked through Captains Club. If you booked direct you got an onboard credit of $200. Do you still get that if you refer the booking to a TA? And why redirect to a TA anyway?

Obviously confused

If you are not happy with your TA you can tell them to make the booking directly with Celebrity and then you can shop around when you return home. The reason for switching your booking to a TA is to get the lower price that many TAs will offer. You can get the onboard credit whether you book with Celebrity or a TA and the credit will transfer to any TA you switch it to as long as it keeps the same booking number.
