You do not purchase tickets.

 

You must go (as soon as possible when boarding) to the Purser's desk and ask to be put on the list for the tour.

 

Some posters have said it was first come, first served to make the tour while others have posted that the names were put in a hat and the lucky ones were selected. It may depend on the ship you are on.

 

If you are picked, then when you take the tour your onboard account will be charged.
