Room Service Favorites

My favorite for an afternoon snack is the international cheese plate. It comes with Brie (my favorite) blue cheese, and three other types along with some grapes, dried apricots and nuts. Makes a nice snack with a glass of wine. Oh yea, I also order the cookies of the day!:D

When I saw the thread title my intention was to type that I eould never use room service as it was lazy and showed a "couldn't be arsed" attitude.

Now I have read the thread I will definately order 3 of everything:p

 

We love to sit out on the balcony and have a little snack. It's really nice and peaceful.:)

No, but most people tip the person who brings them their order.

 

Thanks. That's great - Princess charges for the hot chocolate, so that will be a treat! I always tip room service a couple bucks when they bring something.... I'm saving dollar bills for my cruise next week!

Remember, you can ASK for anything that they're serving in the dining room: Escargot, cheesecake, a steak . . . they may or may not agree to bring it, but you can ask, and more likely than not, you'll get it.

Something NOT to do: Don't save the gold dollar coins.

 

My husband got a small bonus check, and he thought it'd be nice to cash it into gold dollar coins to be used for small tips on our cruise. BAD IDEA. The wait staff obviously thought they were quarters, and though they were too polite to say anything, they thought we were being very stingy. Next we tried to use them in the casino -- they don't accept them.

 

Of course, no one else would likely fall into this strange situation . . . but you're forewarned!

Can someone tell me what the dip is? Is it just Chili with Chorizo Sausage in it?

 

Also, what kind of cookies do they offer for the "cookie of the day"?
