Room Service Favorites

I've seen lots of threads about people's MDR and Windjammer favorite foods, but what does everyone like from room service? I would love a good recommendation for snacks. Thanks! :)

We have had a balcony on our past two RCCL cruises. We share a cheese platter and chicken drumettes at least two or three times each cruise in the late afternoon and watch the sea go by!

If you want lunch the turkey sandwich is great. The bread is tasty and the fact it is delivered to my door makes it even better. Don't forget the cookie!

We enjoy a pot of coffee and a couple of those very tastey bran muffins on the balcony, then we go to breakfast.

I love the Mediterranean chicken salad. Nice mix of greens with broiled chicken breast. very tasty!

2 pots of coffee, 1 pot steamed milk, and cocoa. Wonderful to sit on the balcony first thing in the morning.

That's what we did every morning!! We would run to the Windjammer really quick, grab some stuff and come up in time to get our fruit, coffee and juices from room service and go on the balcony and eat it. Oh, I can't WAIT to go...

well for breakfast the best it to get a plate of fresh fruit and pastries while on your balcony :D

 

also the raspberry cheese cake i found was very good and the chicken salad was pretty good too :)

Lol maybe it was just us, but we didn't think any of it was very good on the Liberty this week. I had a good caeser salad a couple times, but that was about it :p.

Anything for breakfast on port days. We don't do Windjammer on port days because the masses are all there in a shorter time window before getting off the ship.:rolleyes:

 

The pastries, fruits, eggs, sausage are all fine and it's great to eat on the balcony away from the chaos at Windjammer:)

The room service menu is limited but it's all pretty good. We usually get the chicken drummettes and the chili and chorizo dip (but ask for extra chips, they don't give you very many).

That sounds great. I'm curious, can you purchase a bag of corn chips and bring them onboard in your carry on?

No need to do that, just ask for extras and they will include them with your order.

Coffee/hot chocolate and danish in the early a.m. Which leads me to a question. If there is a charge for room service after 1:00 a.m., when does the "free" room service kick in again? I have not been onboard since the new room service charge policy went in to effect.

Breakfast is available for delivery to your stateroom between

7:00 am and 10:00 am daily, with the exception of departure

morning. Menu order forms are provided in your stateroom.

Should you require an in-stateroom breakfast, complete the

prior to 3:00 am. Additional order forms are available

through your Stateroom Attendant.

No, but most people tip the person who brings them their order.

When I saw the thread title my intention was to type that I eould never use room service as it was lazy and showed a "couldn't be arsed" attitude.

Now I have read the thread I will definately order 3 of everything:p
