Tipping ?

We have hired a guide to pick us up at the pier and take us to the falls, a beach, and tubing. I am just curious what the standard tipping rate is for this. The cost of the tour is $50. There will be four of us. TIA.

Its at your discretion, but we had a four hour tour that started at 8:30 and did not end until 3:30. They showed us so much more than we expected so we tipped them well. Our tour was $38.00 pp, but since they showed us around for an extra 3 hours and took us everywhere we wanted to go we tipped both the driver and the tour guide an extra $20.00 each. Keep in mind that we were on the tour by ourselves (private) and the service was exceptional.

We just got back last week and did a tour similar to yours. Tour was $50 and included Dunns Falls, tubing, and a couple other stops. Not sure if I was right or wrong but I tipped $40 total for a group of 5.

I plan on tipping our guides about $10.00 or so for each of us. More if it is so deserved.
