Hmm. Most places are probably fine, but the Drake Passage already has a bad rep. Maybe I'll skip that one.

There was a program a couple of years ago, on Discovery or NatGeo channel, forget which.

Basically, they proved their existence - that they weren't just sailors' myths. Also, new technology actually showed they were far more common than thought.

I think the program was called "Killer Wave", it was aired again quite recently.

I read the article, are we talking rogue waves with no storm or just huge waves that are storm driven?
