Taxi from Plaka Area to Piraeus Port

I wanted to get an idea of how much it would cost for a taxi from the Plaka Area to Piraeus Port. Around 6:00am on a Saturday. How much have you paid?

I should have looked at the posts first. I see there is a thread that asked the same question I did.

 

20 euros seems to be the going rate.

We have paid 20 Euros, but perhaps you need a few Euros more if you have luggage. If he charges you 25, be sure not to add in any tip.

 

At that hour, it certainly will be a quick trip, maybe 20 minutes max, but in my two trips to Athens in the past year, I have not been able to get the taxi driver to use his meter for the Piraus/central Athens trip, which is only about seven miles.
