Pick up from Cape Liberty

My husband and I will be sailing out next year on the Summit so I decided to do some early homework. For anyone who is local, do you know if the Port will allow pickups by non- New Jersey car services? or will we be stuck taking a Jersey cab back to Staten Island.

Anyone can pick you up at the port.

I do not think NY cabs can pick up in NJ and an NJ cab doesn't have to take you to SI.

Thanks for the answers. I just needed to know that when I do book the car going to the ship if I should book a return trip with them.

 

With all the changes Homeland Security makes, I wasn't sure!

it isn't really a DHS issue.....i think it is a NJ/NY issue!:eek::rolleyes:

 

IIRC not too much attention seems to be paid to livery vehicles entering (but you didn't hear that from me.) in our 3 cruises from Cape Lib, none of the vehicles has been stopped....Shhhhhhhhh;)
