Krazy Kruizers Posted August 13, 2009 #2 Share Posted August 13, 2009 All depends on traffic -- 35 - 40 minutes. Taxis cost around $45. We use AlreadyThereTownCar -- cost was $50 -- have used them several times. Very well worth the money. $5 more and you ride in luxury.
Susie51 Posted August 14, 2009 #3 Share Posted August 14, 2009 I called the Town car to make a reservation, but they suggested a van, because of my mom's wheelchair. The van is $75 so we are using Seattle Shuttle instead of a private van. Seattle Shuttle will pick us up at our hotel for $12 p/p total of $36. I plan on tipping $1 per bag and $2 for the wheel chair. Is this a fair amount for a tip?
albertiger Posted August 14, 2009 #4 Share Posted August 14, 2009 Susie, May I ask if your hotel is at Sea-Tac or downtown? I will be staying at an airport hotel for 2 days next May, pre-cruise and need a cheap way to get to the pier. I understand the new light rail will be available next year but don't reall want to do that with luggage!;)
