ADL3 Posted August 15, 2009 #26 Share Posted August 15, 2009 Unfortunately, we have about two weeks per year of time when we can both take off together and they fall in late July/early August so that's all we've been able to do. If we had overlapping time that we could take off at other times of the year, I would love to cruise in the Caribbean when it's not so hot. charliedog Posted August 15, 2009 #28 Share Posted August 15, 2009 I voted anytime, but I always go end of August first week of Sept. It's the cheapest time that my son is not in school. The winter time is for Paris, warmer there than here and cheaper!!! Winter of 07 snow way past our first storey windows . Couldn't go to work for a week :p
fpslim Posted August 15, 2009 #29 Share Posted August 15, 2009 I prefer late January to early February. That way, I only have a few weeks of winter left upon my return.

rottiemom Posted August 15, 2009 #31 Share Posted August 15, 2009 Halloween, October 31st is our anniversary so we "choose to cruise" in the Fall. Agree with all the others; less kids on board, warm breezy temps, comfortable nights, and everywhere is beautiful in October. And yes, I'll admit it, we do love when the kids get dressed up in costumes...and some of the adults are funny, too! Mexico also has the Day of the Dead celebrations around Nov 1st. sappygirl Posted August 15, 2009 #32 Share Posted August 15, 2009 I checked of Fall because that is my favorite time of the year, but I will cruise anytime I can. :)
crystal blue Posted August 15, 2009 #33 Share Posted August 15, 2009 I cruise every September. Less kids and the price is right. I also cruise in Feb. or Mar. to get away from the cold Michigan weather.
