extra bahamas paperwork

Do you still have to fillout an extra form to go to the Bahamas? Where do I get it?

I just realized that I have not had to fill this out and have been on two cruises this year that called in the Bahamas. I'm thinking they did away with it?

There was no additional paperwork required when I visited the Nassau last November on the Splendor...

We had to in 2005 and 2007 when going there.

There used to be a requirement for it, but I think it is no longer required (at least not in April when we were there).

Nor this past January, though I think I remember doing some additional paperwork on one of my first cruises that stopped thre.

As do I, it was a pain, and as I recall there was a delay in debarking off the ship as well. Much better now.

However never did understand why people want to go there.

We had to do it in Dec. of '07 and while it wasn't a big deal it was just a hassle to have to do it right there in the terminal. This was in Ft. Lauderdale and they just had stacks of the forms and pencils in one area of the terminal and you had to stop right there and fill out the form. There was no place to sit or anything. Just a bunch of people standing around trying to fill them out. It would have been so much easier if they had put the forms in with your docs. I hope they have done away with them.

We had to fill them out at the terminal when we sailed Glory in '07. I said the same thing you did until we got on board and I actually looked through our documents and found the Bahamas form.:o

Really, that's interesting. I don't think ours were in our docs tho. I'm pretty sure I looked for it altho, that was more than a year and a half ago so I can't be sure.

It was an immigration form required by the Bahamas for entry. I haven't had to do one on either of my last two cruises that both stopped in the Bahamas.
