OSUTRIKERS Posted August 18, 2009 #1 Share Posted August 18, 2009 I'm sure its been covered before....how do the RRs hold up on flights, and the different air pressure. I know they're advertised as such but wondered from first-hand experience. I'm a bit leery but then again, that means I buy the filler in port city before leaving. I know the experts are out there!! thanks
ikelmay Posted August 18, 2009 #2 Share Posted August 18, 2009 Follow the instructions on receipt of RR. You need to stretch the plastic prior to use. You can then fill the bag with the recommended volume, and it won't then be full. When flying, make sure you don't overfill beyond the amount it was designed for, otherwise you might have a mess on your hands - the RR will happily take the changes in pressure if used correctly. aynt79 Posted August 22, 2009 #3 Share Posted August 22, 2009 I flew with three of the big ones and they made it just fine. I double bagged each with ziploc bags and made sure they were padded with clothes just in case.
