Hi There,

Dress wise,

you will only have two or may be three formal nights, but there are plenty of other places to eat apart from the dining room on those evenings.

Most people will stay dressed for those evenings.

Smart Casual is norm, for dinning rooms, no shorts, foot ball tops etc, apart from that any else is OK, trousers not jeans etc.

However you can dress how you want and not be out of place in other areas of the ship at night.

Room service is limited .

There is always a buffet open.

Price you pays your money and takes a chance.

yours Shogun

Flexible Dining (Anytime Dining choice on Princess) has the same dress code suggestions each evening as Traditional/Assigned Dining. If it is Formal or Smart Casual night - this applies equally to Traditional Dining Room or Anytime Dining rooms.

Horizon Court is closed most nights and Cafe Caribe area is a buffet for those wanting casual dining and not wishing to dress to the level suggested by the dress code for the evening.

Room Service for an inside cabin, balcony cabin or mini-suite is from a small menu only - mainly sandwiches, salads etc. Ordering from the diningroom menu from Room Service is a 'perk' for full suite passengers only.

I think tablemates in Anytime Dining would be accepting of slightly less than formal dress on nights when the dress code is 'formal' but if you presented yourself as very casually dressed, you might find yourself getting a few 'looks'. I would suggest making at least a small effort on formal nights - buttoned, long sleeve shirt, pants, and tie perhaps.

On Formal night, you see many people remain in formal wear throughout the evening as they attend shows, go to casino, bars etc. You will also see casually dressed people in the evening, especially if out on deck at movie screen.

Hope this helps.

so Their is around 2-4 Formal nights on Flexable a week that is wear u have to wear a Tux but what would u wear on the other nights ?? I didnt knowthe was Caribe Cafe on Sea Princess Is that the themed buffet ??

On the formal nights, you do not have to wear a tux. A suit is fine for men.

On the other nights (smart casual), slacks and a shirt with a collar for men.

Yes, Cafe Caribe is the themed buffet in the evening. Casual clothes there every evening.

On one cruise, one of the couples at our Traditional Dining table - an older couple - did not want to dress in jacket/tie etc. for a formal night. They were such lovely, personable people that we all tried to convince them to come anyway. Their final decision was to eat at the buffet, but the rest of us were sorry they chose that instead of having another dinner with all of us.
