We went to Le Havre last year and we hired a taxi with another couple and went to Honfleur for the day. We organized for the taxi to return at a certain time which he did and we paid him when we arrived back at the ship. Unless you are going to the D. Day area you wouldn't need a guide.

In Antwerp we caught the train to Brugge, I am sure you are closer to this lovely city and you would be able to get there easily. We just walked around, went for a ride on the canal and looked at the sights. Again no guide was necessary.

We do usually have a good guide book with us and have done our homework.

You are going to some lovely ports.

Jennie
