Holiday Inn at FLL

We normally stay up near the beach the day before our cruise departure. Not at a Holiday Inn though. However, we have a free night at Holiday Inn. I did see one very near the port. Although, they do not have a pool. Does anyone know of another Holiday Inn near the port, or within a short shuttle service to the port?

There is a nice Holiday Inn on Sheridan St. at I95 in Hollywood. This is very close to the airport. It has a pool. They offer free airport shuttle. I don't know if they have a free cruiseport shuttle, but it would be about a $25 cab ride. The one by the port entrance is a HI Express.

 

There may be others closer, but I do know there is Holiday Inn on the beach in Highland Beach, just north of Boca Raton. It has a pool and has a great sunday brunch at the restaurant Latitudes in the hotel. This would be less than an hour north of the cruiseport.

The Holiday Inn Express on 17th street is close to places to eat, drug stores, liquor stores, and a Ross for Less if that is important to you.

Stayed there once and was very pleased.

Other trips we have stayed at the Embassy Suites instead.

Just a little better location, (about 2 blocks), closer to the places above

except Bimini Boatyard which is across the street from HIEX.
