Formal Nights

What nights of the cruise are the formal nights? We are cruising on the Freedom of the Seas on November 8 2009.

I believe formal nights are Day 2 and Day 5. You might want to repost to include ship you are sailing on. One seems to get more replies that way! Enjoy your cruise!!

Well, it can depend on your itinerary, but Formal Night is usually held on a sea day. Checking your itinerary, I see you are in port on Day 2, and Day 3 is a sea day. I would assume your Formal Nights will be Day 3 and Day 6; your printed Cruise Compass will tell you for sure, though.

The 1st formal night is ALWAYS night 2....if you have another, it will be on the next to last evening.

When you get your travel documents, usually 3 to 4 weeks prior, it will have the schedule for your particular cruise.

^ Just for the record, IP's itinerary is different than the one you've posted this Compass for. There is no sea day on Day 2; they are in CocoCay, Bahamas. That's why I suggested it may be on the first sea day, which is Day 3. If I'm wrong, I'm wrong, but I have yet to be on an RCI cruise that had a Formal Night on a port day. Just sayin'. :)
