Sorry guys just really busy trying to get back in the groove of things and being sad that my cruise is over but

The shows that were playing :

Welcome Aboard Show didnt see that one

80"s show It was really good I was singing along the whole time

Hey Mambo: was really good the costumes were so bright and pretty

We stayed in an ocean view room M119 it was really nice and barely felt the ship moving even though DH likes the movement of the ship.

Quick question.. Do you remember which was elegant night? We are sailing in 12 days and I am planning out my outfits and making my lists. I guess it really doesn't matter, but it looks good labeled on my spreadsheet i.:D

I have never done a review before so im just going to see how much i can remember and type it out sorry guys.

Let me know if you have any ????

Port of Jax

We arrived to the port at about 1130 and a guy with a gulf cart came and drove us to the outside of the terminal where they were loading up everyones bags. That part went really smooth. We were on the ship within 25 mins.

The Ship

The Facsination was a very clean ship I thought it was nice even though I dont have anything to compare it to cause this was my first cruise.

Our room was always kept clean and the so were other areas on the ship. I constantly saw crew members walking around wiping things down.

Sail away

We ate on the lido and ordered a few drinks.

It started raining a little but by the time we left the rain was going away and we slowly made our way under the bridge in Jacksonville ??? dont remember the name of it lol.

After we started sailing we just started exploring the ship.

Casino

Was kind of small but Im not sure how big they are supposed to be on a cruise ship I've only been to the casinos in vegas. We gave a few donations to the black jack table and the slots. Me and Dh did the slot tournament but of course didnt win. We also played roulette.

Dinner

We ate dinner in the MDR every night besides when we were in nassau, We had late seating 815 and sat with some really nice people. Everyone at our table were married and around the same age as my dh and I. Our waiter was good he remembered our names after the first night I was amazed until someone pointed out he wrote them down lol, We liked the Baby Back Ribs, and the Flat Iron Steak, was offered everynight. I also had the crabcakes pumpkin soup and I think I had a shrimp cocktail everynight. The bitter and blanc was really yummy. My dh liked the cornish hen I didnt like the ceaser salad it was dry and looked like it had salad dressing on it but it didnt.

Now the FAMOUS CHOCOLATE MELTING CAKE......

It was good the first night I had it, but after that I didnt like it the other nights I ordered it and by the last night at dinner I figured out the reason I didnt like..... It was because it wasnt done in the middle it was runny but that first night i ordered it was a lil stiff in the middle like a brownie and thats the way I like it. Im not sure if its supposed to be runny??????

The lobster night was great I had two lobster tails and the shrimps were huge.

The waiters sang every night and one night they even danced to that song from Slum Dog millionaire....

The person that announced the waiters before they danced sounded just like King Julian from Maddagascar that was cute.

Drinks

I tried the Kiss on The Lips= very good, Pina Colada=my fav drink , Strawberry Daquiri=not good, and a few funship specials but I dont remember what they were because I was drunk by then and my Husband was too. So when we were in the club I think that he just kept asking for the "pink cup" or "the special". One night I had like 6 souvenier cups on our table I left like 4 of them in the club lol.

Ha Ha, this made me giggle! I'm going to have to try one of those "kiss on the lips" drinks. I'm a big fan of the "funship special" on boarding day.

Thanks for giving us more review!

I had a "kiss on the lips" on my Fantasy cruise several years ago and I managed to even get a REAL one from our bartender!

He kept them strong and plentiful and I must admit, they make you walk sideways after too many. lol

I can't wait to get several "kiss on the lips" on my cruise next month, but this time DH can be my kiss-mate! :p

Where are the laundry rooms and how much do they cost? We are doing a back 2 back so are only packing for a 4/5 day cruise and I am planning on doing laundry on turnaround day.

I was on the same cruise.

So don't know what deck you're on, but they have laundry rooms on deck 6 and 7.

The cost was 3$ to wash and 3$ to dry (90 min)

They didnt have the new slides I think the ship goes to dry dock in Jan or Feb of 2010.

She will still have fun on the lil slide they have or you can take her to atlantis :)

HMC

We ended up booking the horse back riding the day before we got to HMC there were two slots left and they were early, We had to be in the Palace Theater at 0745 in order to tender over to the island.

When we got to the Theater that morning there were only a few people there waiting I think they all had early excursions the rest of the ship was still sleeping. The two guys that worked for carnival got up on the stage and told us a few facts about the island and where the food and excursion areas were and then we were walking to the boat to tender over to the island it took about 10 minutes for the boat to be filled with people.

The boat ride was smooth and beautiful I had never seen water so blue and the sand is white I wish that every cruise made a stop at HMC if you havent been please go you wont be disapointed.

DH is from Trinidad and St Thomas so he wasnt as excited as I was lol.

Once on the island of course they were taking pictures of you as you walked up the steps. We went straight to the stand and rented a clam shell $17 and a Floaty Tube Thing $11. The attendent set up our clam shell, we dropped our stuff there and went to the excursion area.

The horse back riding excursion was awesome everyone should book this. It is so worth the money. You ride the horses on land first with saddles down the beach, back up the beach up a hill and then down a hill kinda like a lil trail. That last about 15-20 minutes.

Next they take the saddles off you undress down to your swimsuit and you ride the horses down the beach again but this time in the water. That lasted about 10 mins There was a Carnival Photographer there taking lots of pics. We bout all of them, they were so pretty.

Everyone was so happy with the excursion and talked about how great it was on our ride back to the main beach.

Sorry guys I know this was long but HMC was so much fun I have to let yall know everything lol.

More to come...........
