  1. Looking into this river cruise, we have sailed many ocean cruises but never a river cruise. I have a lot of questions and concerns. First I will start off by saying we are a couple in out late 70's early 80's with slight mobility issues, walk with a cane, very slow and are non drinkers. We decided we cannot do ocean cruises anymore or go out of the country due to health reasons and do not want to take the chance of having a medical emergency out of the US. I did like the activities on the big ships, spending time at the pool, trivia, silly games and worry that I might be bored at times but my DH can take a nap anytime. How long are the stops that they make along the way all day or just a few hours? Is here usually walkable sights at the stops/ports, shopping like at a port? Is there one included excursion at each stop/port? Are there other excursions for a fee? Breakfast, lunch & dinner are they all served in the main dining room? All open seating? At breakfast is the menu the same everyday? Eggs over easy, bacon, sausage, pancakes, waffles freshly made? Is nightly Entertainment held in one of the lounges? Comedy, music groups, singers etc. What time is this usually and how long? After the entertainment is there any other type of activities? Movies somewhere? We like to end our day with a bit of TV what is the situation for TV stations, streaming, movies? I would really appreciate any info you can pass along.
  2. Liberty of the Seas was our first Royal Caribbean ship and sadly to say it was also our last Royal Caribbean cruise. The Freedom class is our favorite. Last May 2023 we sailed on Liberty to Bermuda while we didn't think Bermuda was the greatest LOS will always be our favorite ship. We had a starboard midship JS on deck 6 which was perfect for us. I deck down to the dining room. We had early dining I will say that we always witnessed a longline for the MTD when we walked that way. Due to DH's health issues we will no long sail out of the US so we might be considering a ACL Mississippi cruise from Memphis to New Orleans.
  3. Cortrans was great we left a bag on the bus and he came back after dropping others off. He found us in the skycap line outside and came back yelling to us.
  4. Thinking of booking a excursion and need to know the name of the port/pier where Harmony docks. The address also would be helpful.
  5. It was a blast to watch the Super Bowl on the huge screens in the Aqua Theater while we were on Oasis a few years ago.
  6. We have early dining and usually get the dessert even though we are stuffed. Then on some evenings I wish there was some place to get a snack other than pizza. If I ask for the dessert to go how will it be packaged? Also if I have dessert with dinner can I also ask for one to go? If so can I bring a small plastic container so I can stick it in the cooler if necessary?
  7. My daughter and granddaughter will be booked in the same cabin with me. Will they receive the same diamond status that I am?
  8. @GetToLivin Do you need to use your seapass to get in to the suite sun deck on Harmony?
  9. Are Jr Suite guests allowed on the Suite Sun Deck? What deck is it on?
  10. We'll be on Harmony in April also staying 2 nights pre cruise at the Hilton Galveston Island Resort. Thanks for the pics it looks really nice. I'm excited for this review I'll be following along. Jack has the sweetest face! Have a great cruise.
