  1. Hopefully thry keep it up. Didn't see it in Bayonne a week ago
  2. Something nice that we saw on Odyssey in March and they said it was the first week they did it was restauarant staff in the terminal prior to boarding making reservations. It was fabulous, made all mine in yhe terminal at 10:30 prior to boarding.
  3. Only way is to call. CP will not show accurate prices.
  4. It doesn't have anything to do with the last price. The price on a sold out cabin can still fluctuate as Royal maintains a price (not the one you see as the waitlisted price in cruising power) that can change at any time. The last price could very well have been higher
  5. Your specialty dining reservations will not show in your planner. They can't unless you pay for them. They do not actually have access to the dining system until the morning of your cruise. What they do is keep a list snd make them that morning or let the restaurant manager know to add you in once the system switches over.
  6. Its still possible but the chances of another cabin in the exact same category being available are very slim.
  7. I would bet that most of the people that are late are not booked with 3rd party excursion providers but have just gone on their own by renting a car or taking a taxi somewhere. The vast majority of 3rd party providers are very reputable and will get you back to the ship on time...their business depends on it.
  8. TA's do hold space. Not rooms, and Royal will hold back a certain amount of cabins to honor that commitment.
  9. This is a common misconception. Sold out categories can indeed be repriced. Royal does maintain a price for sold out categories in the event of cancellations. Price drops can be category specific or across the board where they may see a sailing not selling and apply a flat rate % off of every category. This woukd be applied to sold out categories as well. The best way to monitor this woukd bevto track a category similar to what you booked, fir example owners suite and crown loft suite. If you see a big price drop on a similar category it's worth a call. I have had a price drop applied to a Royal suite and there is only one if those.
  10. It's listed on cruising power (Royals website for travel agents) and there are plenty of cabins available to book.
  11. There is a cutoff point usually a couple days in. On a 4 night cruise I'd be very surprised if you could buy it after day 2.
  12. Sorry to hear this, check with your credit card company as you may be covered under that as many cards do have a limited coverage travel component.
