  1. I knew him a long time ago. He owned Fallsburg Lumber.
  2. The best country concert I ever attended had Willie Nelson as the lead attraction. Merle Haggard and Ray Price were also on the bill. This was at Bethel Woods which is at the site of the original Woodstock concert in 1969 (which I also attended.) I have also seen Willie Nelson 2 other times there after the first show I mentioned.
  3. Oh well, DW is a retired teacher. I guess she does not qualify.
  4. If there was an emoji for blushing, you should have put it in that post. 🤣
  5. 🤞 crossed for them. Keep all of us posted as to how this is finally resolved.
  6. I think according to cc rules, you are not supposed to turn up (drum roll please) your nose at someone's typographical errors. 🤦‍♂️🤣
  7. Maybe if the Starbucks franchise was called Safeway coffee house, they should be. Not only has Princess allowed them to be on their ships, but they have allowed them to use Princess in their title, Princess Promotions. Is it any wonder that they could be mistaken for a part of Princess?
  8. Actually, IIRC what @Ferry_Watcher has posted in the past, she does not do check in for NCL. She does for all the other lines sailing out of Seattle.
  9. I had not, but now I have. https://www.icelandtravel.is/attractions/phallological-museum/ Or as the Monty Python Flying Circus used to say, "here's something completely different.".
  10. And that would be further proof that Princess is in cahoots with this unethical people, even more than letting them use the name Princess in their title.
  11. OK, what was that museum about. I tried to look up phallological in the dictionary, and it was not there. If I knew any of you were looking for a museum, I would have recommended the Perclan Museum, which is a museum about Iceland's geology. DW said we are not waiting in the airport forever, so she booked for us an excursion to the airport with a stop at that museum. It was truly fascinating. Sad, we ended up with a long wait anyway at the airport as our plane was delayed 😒, but at least it was less than if we had not taken that fascinating excursion.
  12. Some thoughts that I had overnight. One, if as the OP has said his parents were told they only needed the credit card information to have it on file as opposed to what they were going to charge on the card, this truly sounds like credit card fraud. I wonder if Canada or maybe their province has the equivalent of an Attorney General's office that would look into this. Second, I find Princess very much at fault. They have not only allowed these predatory salespeople to operate onboard, but have also let themselves call themselves Princess Promotions, letting them use their trademarked brand name to let passengers think that they are really part of Princess.
  13. Again wishing the best of luck to your parents dealing with this. Generally credit card companies are quite willing to go to bat for their customers. And referring to your original post---I don't think any of us hold any grudge with you for not having been on a cruise. (Though why not try one, other than the fear of being hooked. 🤣) And I think it is safe to say we all respect what you are doing trying to help out your parents.
