Rare pierces Posted July 16, 2017 Author #8 Share Posted July 16, 2017 Cookie is a Chihuahua/Jack Russel mix and a member of the family. A 7-pound Prima Donna family member who demands affection, attention and back scratches whenever it suits her. She will hop up on your lap, flop on her back immodestly and nose your hand or arm until you give in and provide a belly rub. Annoying? Sometimes. But like small children, she makes use of God's too-cute-to-smother rule and is doted on by all who know her. As a family member, she is also subject to the occasional photographic intrusion. Arranging a string of fairy lights around the napping pet was spur-of-the-moment and for once, she didn't simply depart in annoyance. She did, however, give me "The Look". shootr Posted July 19, 2017 #9 Share Posted July 19, 2017 From Google Photo's - will probably work for about 3 hours... Taking pics at the reunion, it's always the off-hand snaps that seem to be the most satisfying...
PollyPenguin Posted July 21, 2017 #10 Share Posted July 21, 2017 Found these last weekend while hiking in the woods with my sister near Lake Michigan. After a little research, I discovered they were called ghost plants or ghost pipes.

zackiedawg Posted July 21, 2017 #12 Share Posted July 21, 2017 Some lizards hanging around the wetlands areas here in Florida... Brown basilisk: Green iguana: North America's largest woodpecker - the crow-sized pileated woodpecker, making lots of noise in the dark forest: The looooong extending neck of the least bittern, which looks like it almost has no neck when resting: A very colorful moth that landed next to me while I was in my pool. It was hot, so I splashed a little water for him, and he drank it clean up:
