Zaandam C category cabin on Main Deck - window question

Hi all,

We just booked a C category Oceanview cabin on Main deck of Zaandam. On Holland's site, I have the impression that we will have an actual window. However, when I look at the cabin info on Cruise Critic it appears to be a porthole. And when I look at a picture of the ship, it's hard to be sure what deck I'm looking at, but it appears to be a porthole as well.

Can anyone tell me from their experience? I'd love to have a regular window and will be willing to upgrade if I need to.

Don't worry; it's a window. The porthole cabins are the ones towards the bow; they're Category G.

Try googling HAL Cabin Pictures. There is a FACTual site that has pics of many cabins. Look at the R class ships, and try to find similarly situated cabins, even if they're from other ships. You should be able to see pics of the cabin, including the window.

The window is at the head of the king size bed. If you separate the bed into two twins, you can then walk up to the window.

"Main" deck is right below the walk-around deck.
