Babysitting and ballroom dancing on Ventura

Hello, has anyone had experience of group babysitting on the Ventura? What happens in the evenings?

Also, my husband and I like dancing. We already dance salsa and are learning ballroom/Latin, so are there lessons available in the daytime and places to dance at night?

There are children's clubs on Ventura. It all depends on age of child to what facilities are available. There are baby places in the nursery but they will be limited. Look in the info on Ventura and it tells you about the facilities.

Not sure on dancing as I don't ballroom dance

There is a night nursery for four years and under open from 6pm to 2am.

If Ventura is the same as Azura then there will be dance classes through the day but in the evening dancing takes place in the atrium as there isn't a dedicated ballroom onboard. The dance instructors play cd music rather than have a live band. Aurora & Oriana both have dedicated ballrooms where bands provide the music. We still enjoyed dancing on Azura but just not as much as on the other two ships.

It's over 25 years since we used night nursery...it was very good in those days! :-)

when we were on there last they were dancing in Carmens

Oh, I guess ballroom sounds a bit over blown, perhaps lounge with decent size floor for dancing & stage for the band to play on. On Oriana it's Harlequins & on Aurora it's Masquerades. ( or vice versa)

Last October on Ventura there was evening ballroom dancing in the Atrium with an instructor plus in the night-time venues people dance along to the singers, who encourage people to get up and dance if they like. There was also day-time line-dancing.
