San Pedro progressive check in

Does anyone know how strict princess is about the progressive check in times in San Pedro? Leaving this Friday and I usually like to get to harbor about 10:30-11:00 but they are telling me 1:15 with progressive. I've cruised with princess before but never dealt with this check in system. Any help would be great.

all of the other threads on this say to get there at 10:30-11, they usually stary boarding around 11-11:30 and you shouldn't have to wait. the progressive boarding times are suggestions for the most part.

Its more of a suggestion to help keep lines down so everyone doesn't show up first thing in the morning and bottleneck the lines. You will NOT be turned away or hassled.

From what I've seen, the only ones who show up at the "suggested" times are newbies and experienced cruisers who don't want to stand in line. :D

My problem with Progressive check in is that as Platinum we are allowed to board sooner rather than later

Progressive check in depends on where you are in the ship or category

So our documents say a later time but we alway board with the Platinum group

I have boarded many times in San Pedro & they pretty much have always started boarding at noon.

Best time to show-up in San Pedro is 3:00 pm, you walk right on with no lines at all!

Got there at 10:30 last time and was SHOCKED there was not a line and we boarded immediately!! I'm sure it was a fluke, but it was nice. Our family who arrived about an hour after we did had a short wait but they were eating lunch by noon!
