Taking a Windstar Tahiti cruise in September. Itinerary departure time is listed as 6 P.M. Since we will already be in PPT, does anyone know what time boarding commences? In other words, can one board for lunch commencing sometime after noon? Thanks in advance for any advice.clear.png?emoji-smile-1742

We haven't taken our cruise yet, but people who have done it have given different answers about the best Candles night:

1. Do it first evening while docked at Papeete because the ship won't be rocking, it won't be windy, and there's nothing else going on.

2. Schedule it early in the cruise so that if you get rained out you can still reschedule for another evening.

3. Schedule for an evening when you are docked (Papeete or Raiatea), or anchored but not sailing (Bora Bora)

Having said that, I have been wondering when the deck BBQ night is, since I know Candles will be closed that night. . . Anyone know which night it tends to be?
