louanne93 Posted February 12, 2017 #1 Share Posted February 12, 2017 Does anyone know how to get to Las Animas from the port in Puerto Vallarta? I understand it is only accessible by water taxi. I really don't want to do an excursion.
Rare Hlitner Posted February 12, 2017 #2 Share Posted February 12, 2017 Just wondering why you want to go to that specific beach. It is a bit difficult to access during a port day. Hank
Ine Posted February 12, 2017 #3 Share Posted February 12, 2017 It will take sometime to get there (and back). I think it is only doable if you have enough time. You need to take a cab or bus to Boca de Tomatlan, which will last about 45 minutes at least. From there take a watercab from the pier to Las Animas. The same back. I donot remember what the cost for the watercab will be. On the way back ask the place you are to arrange a watercab back. You might find a watercab at the pier near Playa Los Muertes, which will save some time. Just ask around there.

Just looking for an adventure.
