Keurig. (Kcup) makers in all rooms?

Sorry, I know this has been asked before. Yet, I was unclear on the answer. Are Keurig (Kcup) , or equivalent coffee makers in passenger cabins?

And no, we are not travelling in Queens or Princess grills level rooms.

Kettles for boiling water plus requisite supplies for making tea and coffee in all cabins, Illy branded coffee makers in Grill cabins only. Available on QM2 at present but the other ships to get them in due course.

The Britannia class coffee is powdered coffee that you stir into hot water.

 

Of course the Kings Court coffee is powdered coffee that gets dispensed along with hot water, but I digress...

Just don't try to boil it in the kettle (as reports indicate some have tried). There isn't any brewing equipment so bring a small French press or a jar of instant coffee.

Are you saying that there is no way to make "real" coffee in the stateroom?

You get a kettle with which to make tea or instant coffee. We were supplied with Nescafe and Cafe Hag instant coffee granules, tea bags and milk in little pots as per picture below. Put the instant coffee granules in a mug and pour on boiling water out of the kettle.

 

Room service is still available if you don't want to use the kettle & sachets

Does room service offer "real" coffee?

Is it powdered coffee in the restaurants as well?

Room service, the buffet, and the dining room all have "regular" coffee.

IMO, the buffet line coffee is instant. Have you watched them refill it? Powder goes in, liquid coffee is dispensed, they never empty grounds.

You might be right, but it looks like a pretty fancy WMF coffeemaker for it to just be instant coffee. Perhaps the grounds are dumped down a chute into a bin under the counter?
