Tombebouef Posted March 26, 2017 #1 Share Posted March 26, 2017 We have a drinks package as part of the booking deal. We generally stick to wine which is included. Can we however order a more expensive glass of wine and pay the difference or would we be charged the full price.
BourbonNBluesLuvr Posted March 26, 2017 #2 Share Posted March 26, 2017 Hello, Welcome to Cruise Critic. It would help you get a more definitive answer if you stated which cruise line, and which package on said cruise line. BBL
paul929207 Posted March 26, 2017 #3 Share Posted March 26, 2017 The answer varies by cruise line. So as BBL said, we need to know who you will be sailing with.
Krazy Kruizers Posted March 26, 2017 #4 Share Posted March 26, 2017 Welcome to Cruise Critic. HAL: If you order a more expensive wine than the house wine that is covered by the drink package, you are automatically charged the higher price wine to your ID card. You can not just pay the difference.
dread_pirate Posted March 26, 2017 #5 Share Posted March 26, 2017 Celebrity: If you have the Classic drink package (which is likely if you have it as a booking perk), you will get charged the full price of the wine, not just the difference between the price of the covered wine and the price of the more expensive wine. If you have the Premium drink package, you will just pay the difference.
